Via degli Dei – Guidebook in Italian

The guidebook in Italian to the Via degli Dei
The route starts from Bologna and ends in Florence, forming a 120 km route between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.

A guidebook for all pilgrims, trekkers, travelers and for those who want to experiment even for short stretches along one of the most popular and popular routes in Europe.

The official guidebook of the Via degli Dei provides all the information you need to get on the road: detailed maps, altimetries, the step by step description of the route, the official variants, where to sleep and places to visit. Thanks to this guide you will discover secrets and curiosities on the way.

The route, currently marked by the CAI, uses a route mainly ridge very similar to the routes used in the Middle Ages for communications between Bologna and the Tuscan capital, and earlier by the Romans through the ancient Roman military road Flaminia Militare.

The route, rebuilt since the 90s, crosses many places of natural interest and landscape at altitudes around 1000 m. s. l. m. In some places the paths pass right on the ancient pavements roads still surviving after 2000 years of history.
